First jam with the AE Mini Modular and Korg Electribe 2 together. The electribe sends a MIDI sequence to the AE and the AE’s audio goes into the electribe’s input for processing using the built in effects.
To do this you need 2 parts on the Electribe. Part 1 is sending the MIDI notes to the AE on MIDI channel 1 and part 2 is set to Audio Input. To hear the sound of the AE you need to record a continuous note on part 2 for the whole pattern.
Today we released the first collaborative album that features the AE Modular synthesizer. I’m happy that so many people helped with the production of this album and that we found so many artists that contributed their work.
I’m also very proud to have one track on this album myself … this is my very first release of my music on Bandcamp!
I spent some time over the weekend to reorganise my little synth desk and integrated my new Korg Volca Sample with the KeyStep and AE Modular. I then setup the mixer to mix the AE and microphone and send it all to the audio interface so that I can now record my voice and the synth at the same time with my trusty old iPhone 5.
