This is a track that uses all the gear that I have installed in my “studio”. For the first time, the big AE Modular and the AE Mini Modular are playing together. I find that the AE Mini works great together with the Korg SQ1 and the Zoom MS70-CDR multi effects pedal.

Getting Started 06 – Dual Envelope
Here I’m explaining how to use the dual envelope module 2ENV of the AE Modular system.
Patch Challenge #17
This challenge is about playing what you see with a very dramatic red sky photo posted by @spacedog on the forum. Details about this patch in the YouTube description.

Patch Challenge #16
This patch challenge is all about using the 3VCSWITCH: http://forum.aemodular.com/thread/313/patch-challenge-pulling-old-switcheroo
This is a fairly complex patch … find more information in the video description on Youtube.
Playing the AE Minisynth 03
In this video I am showing how to combine the AE Mini Synth with two little play mates – the Korg SQ-1 sequencer and Korg Volca Sample. You can read more information in the video description on Youtube.
Playing the AE Minisynth 02
I found some radio waves hidden in the SV Filter and just went exploring from there. Two OSCs mixed together, going through the SV Filter with some Lopag “drums”.
Playing the AE Minisynth 01
Showing off the high pass filter’s resonance by playing the mini system from Superbooth 19.
Rumble in the Nyle
This is an experiment with the self resonating Nyle filter going through the Wasp low pass filter for rumbling bass and then squelching craziness. Another voice explores the CV and IN1 of the Delay module with some random voltages changing the delay time in interesting ways and a kind of drone adding substance to the delayed ping.
All recorded into Audacity on my PC and then fused with the flyover video using the good old Windows Movie Maker.
Patch Challenge #13 – It’s Delayed
volcAE beats
This Sunday’s patch started with the NAND logic gate which gave me a nice grungy sound when I patched two oscillators through it. Then I used the SEQ16 to control the filter cutoff of the Wasp filter just to see if this was possible. Then added a few other bits and bobs and of course the fantastic Volca Sample for the beats.
